What will you experience?
The iconic scenic route. Known as the 'Whiskey Route', it approaches Kilimanjaro from the south through five distinct ecosystems — rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, scree fields and icy summit. The trail's 'climb high, sleep low' profile gives excellent altitude acclimatisation, while the Barranco Wall and southern icefields deliver some of the most rewarding views on the mountain.
